Teardown, framing, drywall, and finishes organized into a clear rebuild scope.

Siding, roofing, fascia, and trim documented for the approved repair path.

Interior rebuild

Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and ceilings rebuilt as part of the documented scope.

What you and your adjuster receive

The useful details, in one place.

01

Same-order item-by-item response

The response follows the same order as the claim items so you and your adjuster can compare it easily.

02

Plain-language assessment / recommendation

We explain the recommendation and why a component cannot be reused when that is the reason for the repair.

03

Separate estimate

The estimate is separate from the written response, so the work and the cost stay clear.

04

Progress updates

A clear line between what is approved, what is next, and what needs a decision.

Our process

Four calm steps after a difficult one.

  1. 01

    Assign the file

Send the claim details and we will organize the file around the loss, the property, and the approved next step.

  2. 02

    Site assessment

We record boundaries, measurements, photos, and adjacent spaces sharing a wall, floor drain, or building component.

  3. 03

    Written response

We document the response and get adjuster approval before any scope change.

  4. 04

    Repair and rebuild

We carry the work through the finished product — not left at drywall.

A recent example

A sewer-backup renovation, made clearer.

After a recent sewer-backup claim, we documented the bathroom tile floor, shower surround and base, toilet replacement, and the adjoining utility-room walls and studs. Each reason a component was not reusable was documented, and adjuster approval was obtained before any scope change.

The work made the path from claim to a finished, usable home easier to follow.

Report / assessment

A clear place to start: $499+GST.

Report & assessment — $499 plus GST. Covers the site visit, the documented scope response and the estimate. Waived in full the moment the repair is awarded — you’re only charged this if nothing comes of the estimate.

Questions, answered

A few useful answers before the first call.

Follow your insurer’s instructions, make the property safe, and prevent further damage where you can. Keep records and contact your insurer before permanent repairs begin so the next step is clear.

Yes. With your permission, we can communicate directly with your adjuster about the documented scope and estimate while keeping you informed.

We do not have insurer partnerships. We can work with any insurer when the work is approved, and your insurer and policy remain responsible for coverage and claim decisions.

Timing depends on the loss, site conditions, approvals, materials, access, and our current schedule. We do not guarantee a start or completion date before those details are known.

The insurer typically pays Mr Nice Guy directly for approved work and the homeowner pays the deductible. Payment arrangements are policy-specific, so confirm the details with your insurer.

We can discuss emergency or temporary repairs when the property is safe and the insurer’s process is clear. We do not promise a particular emergency response time.

Scope changes are documented and approved by the adjuster before the work changes. We will explain what is different and why before moving ahead.

We provide a 2-year workmanship warranty plus manufacturer warranties, subject to the written agreement for the project and the applicable manufacturer terms.
